Resolved Question: Is it possible to get a First Time Home Buyers loan with bad credit? January 31st, 2010
I never even thought about buying a house because I have bad credit. I am fixing it at the moment, but it’s taking time. My friends tell me I could get a loan for a house anyway. Is this true?
Open Question: I bought a home with a 203k loan, what would the "purchase price" be? January 31st, 2010
I am filing my taxes, and for the first time home buyer credit it asks for the purchase price of the home. There is a sales price and then there are the total loan amount which includes all of our repairs used with our 203k loan. Looking on our county website they have the sales price (lowest amount) as the purchase price. Would I include that number or the total loan amount including the repairs with the 203k loan?
Thanks!

Open Question: I bought my home last year. How can I use my home to pay off my credit card balances? January 31st, 2010
I bought my home for 83000, if assessed today after my few updates and created curb appeal, it is probably worth 95-100K. After buying the home, my smaller student loan tripled, any 40K student loans will increase by $100/ month in July and my citi card (14K balance) for no apparent reason decided to raise my interest rate from 9.99 to 19.99%… NO REASON! I would like to get rid of Citi using my home… is this possible?
Open Question: Daddy left home when I was six. He’s finally contacted me after forty years.? January 31st, 2010
He wants to borrow $8,000 to buy a motorcycle. Should I give him the money?
He says I won’t heal and be whole until I forgive him. He says if I loan him the money, it will show a good faith effort on my part to overcome the sadness of our past.
I am to blame for his leaving. I didn’t know it at the time, but evidently my constant need for attention drove him away.
I dunno. I’ve been thinking about something. I grew up in a home. Sure it was a hovel, but I had a roof over my head. On the other hand, Daddy says he was often homeless. I have a house that I just paid off. Would it even things out if I just turned the house over to Daddy?
Open Question: Would like to know when or if 100% / 110% home loans will come back?or if their are any still around? Thanks.? January 31st, 2010

Open Question: How come Obama lied about the TARP being successful when it actually is the opposite? January 31st, 2010
When Congress enacted TARP, the hope was that injecting capital into hundreds of banks would spur lending and keep the economy from spiraling even deeper into recession.
But since then, lending to both consumers and businesses has continued to decline.
Earlier this month, the Treasury Department reported that the 22 banks that got the most aid from the government’s various bailout programs have cut their small business loan balances by $12.5 billion since April.
Barofsky, whose office has been closely tracking the evolution of TARP, also criticized the Obama administration’s Home Affordable Modification Program.
Even as Treasury allocated $35.5 billion towards that foreclosure-prevention program as of the end of last year, only 66,500 homeowners have received permanent modifications, with another 787,200 homeowners in trial modifications.
Still, there is no sign that the rate of foreclosures is slowing down anytime soon. Earlier this month, RealtyTrac, the online marketer of foreclosed homes, reported that foreclosure filings surged to a record 3 million in 2009, up 21% from 2008.

Yet another of the long list of the dismal failures of the Obama Cabal.
Vote them OUT in November before they bankrupt our great country
